PETER OKOYE SHOWS OFF IN PRESIDENTIAL VILLA AT RIVERS STATE! NIGERIA'S MONEY!!!

RUGGED MAN IN BITTERNESS OVER ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA! I WILL NOT LEAVE THIS HOTEL IF I DONT GET MY MONEY-RUGGED MAN

Rapper Ruggedman shares a bitter experience he had recently with an Abuja-based promoter named Ejiro Okhipwo. Read below...
I do not know why i always want to help out. I guess its my nature but it gives room for a ot of people to take advantage and repay my good with evil. It has happened once too many and i am tired of it and this Ejiro Okhipwo will not go unexposed for the fraudster/trickster that he is.
He is the promoter of the so called most beautiful girl pageant in Abuja,so i was told when i met him a few months ago while in the middle of a messed up promoters event,i guess they know each other smh. We became friends and i agreed to make an appearance at his October 26th event in Abuja for an honourarium of 100k penre, all for promoting my artist o. Na there i enter one chance.
1. He delayed till the Friday before his event to get in touch with me and pleaded to pay 50k into my account to balance off as soon as we landed Abuja. As a good person i agreed, since i had already given my word.

2. By 3.30pm no bank alert and i thought he was trying to wait till 4pm when banks would have closed to say "we have paid the money, but i guess they didd not post it in time thats why you havent gotten the alert". So i called and asked that the person with the cash should be waiting for us at the airport.

Thinking i was dealing with a rational human being,i decided to head to Abuja so that it wont be said that i refused to come because of the lean change he did not send.

LANDED ABUJA 8:30PM and no cash at the airport,no Ejiro Okhipwo either. We proceeded to the hotel where we stayed until the next day. No welfare,i had to take care of everything from my pocket o (make hungry no kill us where we dey wait for useless people in Jesus name...).

SATURDAY 5:00PM still no word or the presence of Ejiro Okhipwo but someone called fuja who works for him brought two packs into my room. On opening it i found some cold, milkless, sugarless oatmeal. The second pack contained boiled yam, under friend plantain under baked beans LWKMD. I wondered if it was breakfast, lunch or both....at 5PM O.

The event was slated to start by 7pm and by 6pm i sent Ejiro Okhipwo a BB message that i will not leave the hotel room if he doesnt pay what was agreed because i was already suspecting foul play. No response and we lounged till the next day.

SUNDAY: hotel management informs us that Ejiro Okhipwo said everyone should check out of the hotel by 12noon. We called him only for him to send me txt messages that "i am heartless for not coming to his show and will fuck me up" LMAO!!!

A show that he did not pay the lean honourarium "we" agreed to? The deal was to pay before i leave Lagos,i even managed to get to Abuja and he did not have the courtesy to come see us? Even if he did not have the money to pay,i have done loads of free shows for small time promoters like him. His would not have killed me.Now here he was threatening to fuck me up. I laughed so hard.
A few people i know called him and he kept bragging and threatening (over the phone) that he will deal with me and fuck me up.

Finally: Mr Ejiro Okhipwo i have been in Abuja since then and i have not seen you let alone getting fucked up by you (if i hear).

I have even had enough time to apply for and get visas for me and my artist and yet we havent seen you.
Desmond, your PAs friend was involved in an accident and suffered internal bleeding while driving artists who came for your event and when you were told all you said was "its none of your business". God will forgive you.

The girls you brought from Lagos who worked for you and you ran off without paying them or giving them transport fare to go back will never forgive you.

The babe (name witheld) you brought from Lagos and you abandoned her in the hotel (because she no give you do) will never forgive you.

Mr Ejiro Okhipwo of most beautiful girl in abuja,so many people speak ill of you and i pray to God that you change your evil ways. I wont say its because you are short (short man devil) because i know a lot of great short men. I guess you think you are smart and can use and abandon people, but you are far from smart. Your days are numbered and karma is a bitch.

You keep saying commissioners are your friends, the IG is your friend. So? They are not above the law and will not stoop as low as to support your stupid antics. The same IG that is against crime? He will probably end up locking you up.

I wrote this so people and especially fellow artists should beware of the moronic abuja entertainment fraudster called Ejiro Okhipwo. If you must work with him (at your own risk) COLLECT ALL YOUR MONEY and RETURN TICKETS before you fly to Abuja, because you might not see him after the event and dont be surprised if he threatens to fuck you up lol!!!

ENTERTAINERS STAY AWAY FROM EJIRO OKHIPWO,he is not to be trusted. I am speaking from experience

UK GOVT BACKS DOWN ON £3000 VISA BONDS

The UK government has announced plans to cancel the £3,000 cash bond that visitors from 'high risk' countries, including Nigeria, were to put up to enter Britain. Below is the latest update from The Sunday Times UK..
The government is to abandon a controversial plan to impose £3,000 immigration bonds on visitors from “high-risk” countries in Africa and Asia after Nick Clegg threatened to block the policy.
The move will be seen by Labour as a humiliating U-turn for Theresa May, the home secretary. It came after David Cameron backed off from a full-scale confrontation with the Liberal Democrat leader, who was blocking the scheme’s progress through cabinet.
A pilot project to target visitors from seven countries — including India, Pakistan and Nigeria — who would have had to pay a cash guarantee or deposit to deter immigration abuse was to have been introduced this month.
The plan was to make visitors forfeit £3,000 if they failed to return home by the time their visas had expired. But in an announcement this weekend the government said it was canceling the plans

BEVERLY OSU FALLS OUT WITH HER LONG TIME BEST FRIEND,CHRISTY OWOH OVER MAN(BBA BIMP)

U know what? we going to tell you guys a bit of this story because the whole thing is too messy. So Beverly Osu and her best friend Charity Owoh are no longer friends. In fact I hear they are currently sworn enemies...and it all has to do with one gorgeous man, Big Brother Africa contestant Bimp Habesh from Ethiopia. Beverly and Charity fell out after Charity began to pursue Bimp who has been staying more in Nigeria since the reality show ended a few more months ago. Charity went as far as introducing Bimp to her mum and let everyone know she was interested in him. Then came Beverly, who also started showing interest in Bimp. Remember she confessed her feelings to Bimp in the Big Brother house but Bimp told her he had a girlfriend and Bev subsequently turned to Angelo.

However, the two friends first fell out after Charity allegedly told Angelo (when he was in Nigeria) that Beverly still had a thing for Bimp, and after Angelo left, things became really heated between the former BFFs. Beverly felt betrayed that her best friend not only ratted her out but also went after Bimp knowing how she felt about him. I hear that one of them even went as far as opening a twitter account to attack the other, and the other one got so depressed about the situation (because all their friends supported the other) that she 'contemplated' suicide.

Bimp is currently not dating any of the girls. He might not even know that they are fighting over him.

ZARA GRETTI GETS BACK ON HER FIT AFTER BATTLING WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

The singer, who battled multiple sclerosis for a while (an autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord) is back in Nigeria and looking great again. Pic on top is Zara when she was ill earlier this year and the pic below was taken a few days ago in Lagos.

BEYONCE'S MUM FINDS LOVE AFTER DIVORCING BEYONCE'S FATHER

Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, has been keeping her love life private after divorcing her husband, Mathew Knowles for cheating on her. But that seems to be over now, as her hot mama is back in love! She walked the red carpet at the Angel Ball in New York City Tuesday evening with a brand-spanking-new accessory; her boyfriend, Richard Lawson. Don't they look together? Lol cool.

OMAWUNMI STILL HIDING HER BABY DAD,S IDENTITY

Common Omawunmi! Every lady will get married one day and have a child, with a man. Be it a bricklayer, mechanic, doctor, lawyer a man is a man. Omawunmi has been hiding the identity of her baby daddy, but we aren't disturbed and not bothered about that. We only got bothered, when she posted an altered picture of herself, the man and her daughter. She tagged it with Baba Kamillah and Kami....

But why post an altered picture, you have got a family you want to flaunt, then flaunt them!

I STILL HAVE 10 YEARS TO BALL...WHILE SOME PEOPLE ARE STARTING OUT AT 27 AND 30,I AM A SUCCESS AND THREAT @ 20-DAVIDO

He granted an interview with punch where he said this and more. Wizkid is not a threat to him, Skelewu is already big and some people are just starting out at 30 but he is already a success and threat at 20.

“Wizkid is not a rival. I see nobody as competition or threat. God is behind me, so I just go into the studio, do my music and everything is fine. I develop and write most of my songs in the studio. I’m not afraid of competition or the fact that some person will just appear on the scene and take the shine. After all, I did it to some people, so I expect that it is something that must happen to everyone because you can’t be shining forever. But once you are good to others, make good music, have loyal fans, that’s all that matters. Continue below.

I have plans to go into oil and gas business with my elder brother next year. I want to do music for 10 years. By that time, I will be 30, and free to rest. Some people are just starting out at 30 but I am already a success and threat at 20. Fame at a young age is a plus because I still have like 10 years to ball while some people are just starting at 27 and 30.”

On Skelewu

“The song is big already; so whatever we do people are still going to talk anyway. I shot the video like a movie and there are three videos, so people can watch whichever one they want.If you don’t like the instructional video, you can watch Sesan’s, if you don’t like that one; you can watch Moe Musa’s. If people want, I will shoot one more video, it’s not easy.”

On his dad

"Yes my father is rich, but the truth is some people only knew who he was after I released my song, ‘Omo Baba Olowo’. I want people to know that the song was not a hit because of my father but because it was dope. I didn’t sing ‘OBO’ because of my father’s wealth – contrary to what people think. My father and family always keep me grounded. They call me from time to time to ask about my welfare. My father actually visits all these blogs to read and see all my nonsense. Just like the typical Yoruba father, he scolds me and whenever he does that, I will say, ‘Daddy cool down, what’s going on, relax.’ Although he is also very proud of me, he is scared and happy for me at the same time.”

WHY MORE AND MORE CELEBRITIES ARE HAVING SERIOUS HEART BEAT AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE- By Ohanube A.K. Goodluck

This was the theme for this year’s World Hypertension Day, which was marked on the 17th of May 2013 all over the world. It came as a necessity considering the rate at which hypertension is ravaging the black African nations, especially the rural and sub-urban areas.
To make effective justice to this theme “Healthy heartbeat; Healthy blood pressure”, it will be pertinent for us to understand the terms heartbeat and blood pressure to know when it is said to be healthy and when it could be said to be in a diseased condition; this will help us to have a better understanding of what hypertension is all about.
HEARTBEAT: It is a pulsation, as a result of the heart. It could also be described as the pulsation of the blood in the artery and blood vessels.
The number of heartbeat per minute is called the heart rate. The normal resting heart rate is 60 to 100 beats per minute, and should be monitored for rate, strength and rhythm. Heartbeat could also be called pulse. The normal heartbeat for an adult at rest is 60 to 80 beats per minute, the normal heartbeat for children is 80 to 100 beats per minute while for babies it is 100 to 140 beats per minute. In diseased condition such as in fever, the heartbeat usually increases about 20 beats per minute for each rise in degree centigrade (°C).
BLOOD PRESSURE: It is the force or pressure of the blood upon the walls of the blood vessels (arteries and veins); it varies with age and health of the person.
In taking blood pressure we have the systolic (top number) and diastolic (bottom number). The normal blood pressure is usually around 120/80, but anything from 100/60 to 140/90 can be considered normal.
If a person regularly has low blood pressure, there is no need to worry. In fact, blood pressure on the low side of normal 90/60 to 110/70 means a person is likely to live long and is less likely to suffer heart trouble or stroke.
A sudden drop in blood pressure (Hypotension) indicates danger, especially if it falls below 60/40. Health workers should watch for any sudden drop in the blood pressure of persons who are losing blood or at risk of shock.

Healthy Heartbeat; Healthy Blood Pressure indicates a healthy condition of life, but what if we have an unhealthy heartbeat and an unhealthy blood pressure: what happens?
What factors predispose us to unhealthy heartbeat and unhealthy blood pressure?
What should we do to prevent or control an unhealthy heartbeat and unhealthy blood pressure?
“Healthy Heartbeat; Healthy Blood Pressure” simply means a heart which its performance is within the normal range for heartbeat and blood pressure whilst unhealthy heartbeat and unhealthy blood pressure simply means a heart which is not within normal performance level, which could be as a result of conditions known as hypotension or hypertension.
Hypotension is a condition of an abnormally low blood pressure; this which could be as a result of the side effect of the drugs a patient is taking, e.g. Inderal, Lisinopril and other anti-hypertensive drugs. It could also be induced by a doctor in the case where blood pressure is lowered so that an operation field is rendered practically bloodless. It could also be postural hypotension, seen when the patient stands up, producing giddiness and sometimes a faint.
Hypertension means persistent high blood pressure. In adults, it is generally agreed that blood pressure is abnormally high when the resting supine arterial systolic pressure is equal to or greater than 140mmHg and the diastolic pressure is equal to or greater than 90mmHg. A diagnosis of hypertension should be based on a series of readings rather than a single measurement and which will vary with age.
Hypertension is very common and usually symptomless but may cause headaches and visual disturbances when severe. Its incidence is highest in men, the middle-aged and the elderly. It is commonest among Africans. It is more prevalent in the young adults than the elderly.
Factors that predisposes us to hypertension are:
1) Smoking
2) High salt diet
3) Obesity (overweight)
4) A family history (heredity)
5) Lack of exercise
6) High degree of stress
7) Drinking too much alcohol
8) Fatty foods, especially pig fat and high cholesterol containing oils
9) Foods having high sugar or high starch contents
10) Excess thinking
What to do to prevent or control hypertension are:
1) Lifestyle modification such as
a) Losing weight
b) Stop smoking
c) Adopting a low salt diet
d) Avoid alcohol
e) Learn to relax
2) Use anti-hypertensive drugs to maintain blood pressure readings within reasonable levels.
Signs and Symptoms of High Blood Pressure are:
1) Frequent headaches
2) Pounding of the heart and shortness of breath with mild exercise
3) Weakness and dizziness
4) Occasional pain in the left shoulder and chest
All these signs and symptoms above may also be caused by many other diseases, thus there is need for you to see a well-trained and qualified healthcare provider to be sure of the exact cause of your illness.

STELLA ODUAH FACES HOUSE COMMITTEE OVER CAR SCANDAL

Transcript from Premium Times

11:40
The minister has finally arrived at the venue of the hearing, 100 minutes after the hearing was scheduled to kick off. The lawmakers now setting up to start the hearing.

11:56
Stella Oduah, the aviation minister has just taken her seat before the committee. The hearing begins.

12:00
Hearing committee chairperson, Nkiruka Onyejeocha, gives her opening speech, explaining the delay in starting the hearing and that the committee would be just and fair.
Delay was because venue used for hearing on Wednesday had been taken over for a another hearing on Land racketeering.
“This committee is out to get to the bottom of the matter. But committee is not on ‘witch-hunting’”
12:06
Onyejeocha quips on the tense mood here. “We are not mourning, there is no aeroplane crash; I want to see everyone smiling,” she says. “Feel free and relax.”
The minister is about to be called upon to testify. She takes oath to say “nothing but the truth, the whole truth.”

12:10
Ms. Oduah starts by apologizing for inability to attend previous hearings. She said said her absence was not out of disrespect and thanks the committee for rescheduling her appearance.

12:17
Ms. Oduah says opportunity to appear will allow her give her side of the story. “For the past week, I have been bashed in the media, many have also risen to my defence.”
She said her spokesperson’s admission of the alleged purchase, while right on concerns for her safety, was “inaccurate”.
She goes ahead to say online publications that she compelled NCAA to purchase cars for her were “false and malicious” allegations. “False in its entirety!”
Says online allegations not substantiated but based on “erroneous” comment of her aide.

12:19
“It is not true, cannot be true that NCAA bought bullet proof vehicles for honourable minister of aviation. My understanding is that what NCAA has done is to plan for its vehicle needs for the next three years under the Medium Term Expenditure Framework,” — Stella Oduah
12:34
Oduah: NCAA has real needs for new operational vehicles. Insists armoured cars not meant for her but foreign dignitaries.
“NCAA acted within the ambit of law”.
“Nothing in the stated documents mentioned my name. I did not request for any vehicles. All I did was to approve the purchase, subject to the agency doing the needful(following the law). NCAA followed due process as required by law.”
“The Federal ministry of aviation under my watch has always ensured we act in a prudent manner and under the ambit of the law”-Stella Oduah
12:40
The aviation minister still rendering her opening remarks.
The “First Bank facility to NCAA to the tune of N643 million mere understanding not an obligation” she daid.
“Nigeria’s airspace is now rate among the safest in the world”. She adds that allegation about car purchase is meant to discredit her team and give the impression her effort at reforms is not succeeding.
NCAA has not spent any money not appropriated by the National Assembly. The agency has even saved the nation a cost and further embarrassment that may occur in future.

12:51
The minister’s initial presentation is over. She is now receiving questions from the lawmakers.

13:08
Minister insists NCAA did not exceed its limit or violate the law.
She is reminded by by Jerry Manwe (Taraba state) that the National Assembly rejected armoured cars in the budget which she is defending, the minister buckles: “NCAA will answer that,” she says.
Minister is pressed by Zakari Mohammed(Kwara state) why she exceeded her approval limit, she said her comment on the letter to NCAA was not final but advisory to NCAA to follow the law.
On the said letter, the minister wrote “Approved. Do the needful”.
Brief game on semantics here. Minister says “Do the needful” could mean anything”. But the lawmakers are not having that. NCAA is called to explain the “needful” it did. And the NCAA director general shirks to the former acting DG who was in charge then.

13:25
Blame briefly leaves the minister to officials of NCAA over “do the needful” directive. For a moment, lawmakers appear to agree with the minister the all-encompassing comment exonerates her. The former acting DG of NCAA is tackled for even initiating a memo to Odua for a purchase out of budget, and beyond approved limit.

13:47
Jerry Manwe (Member) to minister: If the armoured cars were not for you as you claimed, who is using them now?
Former acting DG answers for minister: Any one can use any car in the pool
Manwe: Do you mean a cleaner can use those kind of cars?
Former DG: Anybody can use; but those kind of cars are for VIP movement, including foreign dignitaries, including the minister, and even you honourable member!
Manwe; Thank you. But the law of the country does not allow me to use those cars.

14:14
Attention has left the minister for more than half an hour. Lawmakers again tackle Coscharis over the disparity in chassis numbers of the cars.
A frustrated Chief Executive of Coscharis, Cosmas Maduka, makes it clear his company has nothing to hide as the committee would think. “We are not doing monkey business here,” he asserted. Mr Maduka was asked to withdraw the comment and he promptly complied.

14:22
Reps wrapping the hearing. Chairperson Onyejeocha said despite the testimonies from those invited since last week, the committee has received sufficient documents that will inform its report. “We have given everyone fair hearing,” she said.
“We assure everyone and all Nigerians we will do justice”.

14:25
Hearing Ends. Thanks for following our updates. Do stick around our site for the rest of the day as we will put the proceeding in their correct perspective for you.

NIGERIA POLICE SAYS PIC OF POLICE OFFICER IS PHOTOSHOPPED

The photo above went viral last week. It shows a senior police officer believed to be an Assistant Commissioner of Police fondling the boobs of a light skinned lady. The Nigerian Police Force released a statement via their Facebook page a few days ago claiming the pic is Photoshopped. It doesn't look Photoshopped to me. Looks like the lady took the photo herself

PEESHAUN OF SKUKI CONFESSES! I WANT TO MARRY CHIDINMA

Peeshawn, one half of singing sensation Skuki (pictured above in white shirt) confessed his love for the pretty Kedike singer in an interview with Encomium mag. Excerpts from the interview below...
But, there are some you also admire that you don’t mind spending the rest of your life with?
Yes, of course! Nigeria is blessed with pretty babes. If you study me well, you will observe that I am a very romantic guy, at the same time, I am very emotional. I definitely have someone that I love so much.
In the industry or out of the industry?
(Pause for seconds) In the industry, I have someone I really love so much.
Who is the lucky lady?
(Pauses again) Chidinma. She’s really attractive. I really love her so much, but we’ve not really had time to chat closely, except when we met at backstage during shows. I hope she will read this, for her to know that Peeshaun of Skuki loves her.
But Chidinma doesn’t read newspapers. She told us in an interview recently?
I am sure her friends, family will read it. They will definitely tell her I said so. I will love to marry her.
Are you serious?
Yes, of course!

What do you really like about Chidinma?
First, I love her music. I love her style. I love her composure. Apart from that, what I love in a woman is a beautiful face and I think Chidinma has 10/10 of that. The low cut on her head is making her look more beautiful anytime I see her performing or watch her video.

Are you directly or indirectly proposing to her?
I don’t want to talk about that now. Next question, please.
