Video: 12-Year Old Girl Who Cries Stones Instead Of Tears

A 12-year-old Yemen girl, Saadiya Saleh has left residents of her home community in fear due to her strange ailment. Saadiya is said to produce small stones under her eyelids instead of liquid tears when she cries, which has left even doctors confused as the girl has not been diagnosed with any specific ailment.

A YouTube film aired by Yemen’s Azal satellite TV channel showed doctors gathered a small box full of stones that dropped out of the girl’s eyes in just a few hours. A local presenter has also said, the girl’s case will be the second strange phenomenon in the region. “The case has triggered panic in the area where this girl lives… Some say the girl could be gripped by a magic spell while others say it might be the devil… Others fear it could be the start of a dangerous epidemic,” the presenter reported.

Former Lagos Deputy Governor, Alhaja Ojikutu, arrested for fraud

The Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigeria Police today Tuesday Feb. 4th arrested former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Alhaja Sinatu Aderoju Ojikutu, Sahara Reporters reports.
She will appear in court tomorrow in connection with fraudulently obtaining N130million from one Cajethan Okekearu.
Mrs. Ojikutu was declared wanted on June 19, 2013, but she went to court to halt police investigations, a suit that was thrown out by a judge a few weeks ago.
The SFU police spokesperson Ngozi Isintume-Agu said in a statement that Alhaja Ojikutu, 67, who was picked up at her Lagos Island residence, allegedly connived with one Samson Adebisi Ojikutu Jnr, her son, to commit the offence. Samson is currently in the United States.

According to the statement, the former deputy governor and her son “were parties to the sale of the land and both signed the agreement given to the Complainant and obtained the sum of N130 million from him.”

The police said the suspect admitted the crime but explained it as a genuine mistake of plot identification.  She then refunded the sum of N50 million to the complainant and promised to refund the balance as soon as she had disposed of two other properties she had put up for sale.
The statement further said Mrs. Ojikutu has confessed that she injected the complainant’s money into her business.

“She equally made an undertaking and payment plan which was drawn from September, 2012 and was to terminate by November 2012, but she defaulted due to lack of fund.”

The police further said the deal unraveled when Okekearu, on the verge of completion of development of the land, was accosted by the bona fide owner of the property and it was established that the land that the suspect had sold actually belonged to one Mr. Afolabi.

“It was also discovered that the Plot 24 Block 4, which actually belonged to Late Samson Adebisi Ojikutu Snr, the suspect’s husband who died in 2008 was sold by him in 1995 and the suspect was a life witness and appended her signature to the sale of the land.  A financial institution (name withheld) which was in possession of the CofO after payment was fully made also tendered the original CofO which the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State had earlier declared missing and even sworn an affidavit to.”

The statement recalled that Alhaja Ojikutu had sued the Inspector-General of Police, the Commissioner of Police, SFU, and the complainants, asking the court to restrain the police from further investigations and violations of her fundamental rights.

“The ruling by Justice Obadina (Mrs) on 17th December 2013, dismissed the Suit for lack of merit, that the Nigeria Police has the power to prosecute the Applicants, Alhaja Sinatu Aderoju Ojikutu and her son, Sampson Adebisi Ojikutu (Jnr) since the Police investigation revealed that there is prima-facie case of obtaining by false pretences against them and added that the court will not interfere or restrain the Police in carrying out their statutory function,” the statement said.

The former deputy governor will be arraigned at the Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday morning.

How 28-Year Old Nigerian Man Killed 67-Year Old Australian Lover In South Africa

I really don’t know why these boys do this. Fast money maybe? Haba! It’s not that hard to make it in life when you work hard and pray hard to God for his guidance. Really, it’s not. Now he is going to spend the rest of his life behind bars. Which is best? Sad.

Read how this 28-year old Nigerian killed a 67-year old, mother and grandma who he dated online for four years before meeting and killing her in South Africa last year.

Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, on Monday said it had arrested a 28-year-old man wanted in connection with the death of an Australian woman, Jette Jacobs, and for defrauding her of $90,000 in an online dating scam.
According to the agency, Orowo Jesse Omokoh was arrested on January 28 in Nigeria, without stating where exactly.

The graduate, who attended the University of Ibadan, in the southwest of the country, will be brought before court for extradition proceedings, a spokesman said.

The suspect allegedly met the 67 year old Aussie on a dating site and struck a sizzling romantic affair that necessitated him moving to Johannesburg in 2013 to link up with his lover.

Omokoh allegedly arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa on February 4, 2013, to meet with Jacob who had been in Johannesburg since November 2012.

Five days after Omokoh arrived and took up residence with her, Jacob was found dead in her apartment with some of her valuables missing.

After the incident, Omokoh reportedly fled South Africa and returned to Nigeria.

“The South African police, which is investigating the mysterious death, are suspicious that Omokoh has a hand in the demise of Jacobs,” the EFCC said.

The organisation, which investigates money-laundering and online scams, said Australian Federal Police informed officers in March that Omokoh had allegedly defrauded Jacobs of $90,000.

Jacobs, a grandmother from Western Australia, reportedly sent tens of thousands of dollars to Nigeria during her four-year “romance” with a man known as “Jesse”, according to Australian media.

The 67-year-old is said to have previously met him in Johannesburg in 2010 without incident.

Her body was found on February 9. The EFCC said Omokoh had given “useful” information and “efforts are on to track his accomplices”.

The National President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Dr. Nasir Fagge has said, they are yet to receive allocations which were agreed upon last year by the union and the Federal Government. According to him, the Minister for Education, Nyesom Wike, was made the head of the implementation committee who is meant to meet with them regularly for discussions, but has never been available due to his busy schedules. We have also asked that another person who is less busy be made available to us, but the government is yet to do that, he said.

“The minister has been busy all this while and now he has travelled again. We had requested that someone who is less busy be given to us so that we can have regular meetings but it has not been the case. We hope that when the minister returns from his latest trip, our 2013 allocation out of the N200 billion for the revitalisation of our universities will be disbursed. Part of our agreement also was the fact that our annual allocation of N220 billion will be made available on a quarterly basis. 35-Year Old House Wife Stabbed Her Brother-In Law To Death

Some stories are just unbelievable. Obiageli Oriuwa, pictured above, killed her brother in-law, a medical doctor because she wanted him out of his father's house. She is married to the doctor’s elder brother and they both lived in the said house with their wives and children. She has been fighting him to leave the house with his family, because the house belongs to her husband, since he was the first son of their father. The unbelievable however happened on Tuesday, when Obi stabbed the doctor to death after a short argument.

The real motive, a 35-year old woman, Mrs Obiageli Oriuwa, allegedly killed a medical doctor, Ikechukwu Oriuwa, who was her husband’s younger brother, has been revealed by the family of the victim.

Obiageli, who has been arrested and is undergoing interrogation at the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos, allegedly stabbed the 37-year old medical doctor to death at their family house at 52, Ladega Street, Ajegunle in Apapa, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, during an argument between them on Tuesday.

She was initially detained at Tolu Police Station in Ajegunle before the matter was transferred to Panti.

A member of the victim’s family, Chinedu Oriuwa, alleged that it was not the first time Obiageli attempted to kill Ikechukwu. He said she had asked the doctor and his family to move out of the family house, claiming that the house belongs to her husband since he is the first son of the family.

Chinedu said though the matter was settled between them, Obiageli still continued to nurse animosity against everybody in the house, including their mother who has now travelled abroad.

Chinedu explained that Obiageli’s husband, Edward, who is their elder brother, married the suspect two months after he had married a lady identified as Veronica, against the wish of the family and this always caused quarrel between Obiageli and other members of the family, including the late medical doctor.

Confirming what led to the incident, the mother of three, who spoke with P.M.NEWS from police custody, claimed that she did not deliberately set out to kill the medical doctor, but only wanted him and his wife to pack out of the family house.

She said she was entitled to live in the house since her husband is the first son of the family.

The suspect explained that she was always having disagreement with the late Ikechukwu because he did not want his elder brother to marry her.

Obiageli said her husband married her against the wish of his family and because of that there was always quarrel between her and the family including the late Ikechukwu.

When asked how she felt about the incident, Obiageli said she was confused and that if she had known, she would not have married into the family.

P.M.NEWS had reported Wednesday how Obiageli allegedly killed the medical doctor at their family house.
According to their neighbours, Ikechukwu woke up in the morning, went to a gym for exercise and came back to prepare for work. But on getting home, tenants complained to him that Obiageli switched on her electricity generator in her shop where she sells drinks, locked the shop and went away on Monday night.
They told him there were sparks from the generator around 2 a.m. and almost burnt the building before tenants put out the fire.

P.M.NEWS gathered that after the complaint that Tuesday morning, Ikechukwu went to Obiageli to advise her not to switch on her electricity generating set in the shop and leave it as that could burn the house.

According to the tenants, Obiageli got angry and attempted to fight Ikechukwu that morning but the tenants separated them.

Obiageli later went to her room and brought a kitchen knife which she allegedly used to stab the victim on his left rib cage. She left the knife there and ran away.

Ikechukwu bled profusely and was rushed to Zollinger Clinic at 20, Taiwo Street, off Tolu Road Apapa, but he died on the way.

The doctor only certified him dead when he got to the hospital

"If pastor Ajanaku had greeted me, he wouldn't have died" - Guru Maharji

Self proclaimed Messiah of the world, Guru Maharaj Ji in an exclusive chat with City People spoke on the repercussions that come when evil is spoken of him or disrespect is meted against his person. He said in the interview that the late Pastor Ajanaku who passed away in controversial circumstances last year August died as as result of his disrespect to him.

"That is the work of people who wouldn't stop at anything in running you down. Take for instance Olanrewaju Adepoju is one of them, Pastor Ajanaku even Okotie. Many of them who distorted the truth that Maharaj Ji is this and that and they believe in it without even knowing that it is a trap. Even Idahosa, where are they today? Yes they offended the holyspirit that sent me here. The bible says know the truth and tell the truth. I remember when I went for a programme at NUJ Press Centre Ibadan and I met late Pastor Ajanaku, If he had said "goodmorning o Guru, that boy wouldnt have died. The moment he met this light and the light was for him to be saved. I want to tell you that things that are happening on the planet are not coincidence, it has been planned by the creator. If one abide with one mind, one will always escape the dangers and that was it. Things that he is not supposed to say, he started saying it and the problem started".
Hmmmm. The things you hear every day. Continue...

"He wouldn't have died. It is like this, when a human being is possessed it is just like ....let's take the case of Idahosa for example. When I was in Benin, they blocked my bus. He went further to say that the stature of the Oba of Benin is an Idol. No, dont do evil, that is it. You don't carry bible in your head, no, bible is not working in Europe, na nuclear bomb o. Bible is not working in Uganda, na bomb they work there. So in Pastor Ajanaku's case, he should have given me my respect the moment he saw me"

Atiku Abubakar finally decamps to APC

The former Vice President will formally submit a letter announcing he's left the ruling party PDP for APC. See his press statement which he posted on his website

Press Statement by Atiku Abubakar, GCON, Turaki Adamawa and former Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria on his Resignation from the PDP and his Joining the APC.
In 2006, as a result of my firm stand in defence of our constitution and our democracy, my supporters and I were pushed out of our party, the Peoples Democratic Party, a party that we worked tirelessly with other compatriots to build as a vehicle to restore democracy to our country.  We later returned to that party in 2009 when a new leadership of the party and the country promised a new direction, a direction of inclusiveness, of internal democracy, of an end to impunity, adherence to the rule of law and respect for the dignity of members and Nigerians.

Sadly, however, those promises have not been kept.  In addition, the PDP continues to be beset with many crises, mostly leadership-induced crises.  It has since lost touch with Nigerians and efforts made by many well-meaning members and stakeholders to bring it back to the vision of the founders have been rebuffed.  To demonstrate the seriousness of the challenges and bring public attention to it I and some other leaders and stakeholders staged a walkout during the party’s last convention in Abuja.

As I speak, most of the issues that led to that walk-out are yet to be addressed.  Many founding members of the PDP, I included, continue to be marginalized and excluded from the affairs of the party. For instance as a former Vice President, I am by virtue of the PDP constitution, a member of the party’s Board of Trustees and its National Executive Committee.  However, I am not invited to the meetings of those organs nor consulted on their decisions, apparently because I dared to exercise my right to contest in the party’s primary election for a chance to be its flag-bearer in the 2011 elections.  We have, therefore, concluded that that party cannot be redeemed. In short the PDP has abandoned Nigerians, the very people who gave it life and many electoral victories.

More worrisome though is the danger posed to the continued existence of this country by this culture of impunity and arbitrariness.  We continue to have threats from officially protected political extremists.  Increasingly our people are recklessly being divided along the lines of religion, ethnicity and region for political gains.  Our history and that of many other countries in Africa and Eastern Europe ought to teach us that this is very dangerous and must stop.

We can and we must do better. Our people deserve better.

It is against this background that we should understand the visit by the leaders of the APC and their invitation to me to join hands with them to save the country. Consequently, I have been consulting my supporters and associates, my family and friends for the past few weeks.  My decision may not satisfy some of my friends and associates.  In the end, however, I have to put the interest of our country first.  This country has done so much for me personally and it deserves all that we can do to help rebuild it and serve our people better.

Following this extensive consultative process, I have, therefore, decided to cast my lot with the APC, a party of changecommitted to the improvement of the lives of our people and to the continued existence and development of Nigeria as one indivisible country.  My resignation letter as a member of the PDP will be delivered to the party tomorrow.

This is the right decision.  As in 2006 it is the struggle for democracy and constitutionalism and service to my country and my people that are driving my choice and my decision. Let me emphasize that this is not about me. We have to have a country before people can aspire to lead it, but as it is today we may be losing this country. That is not acceptable.

I encourage my political associates and friends to register andjoin the APC once the registration exercise commences, so that together we can change this country for the better.

The process of building a nation, of securing and deepening democracy is indeed difficult.  And it is not a lineal process.  There would be alignment and realignment of political forces. There would be ups and downs and zig-zags, triumphs and challenges.  Amidst all that, patriots must remain focused and do what has to be done to save and build the country and serve our people better.

That is what I have decided to do. I will do all within my God-given powers to help the APC win elections all over Nigeria and bring true change to our country and its long-suffering people.

Thank you and God bless Nigeria.

Atiku Abubakar, GCON
(Turaki Adamawa)
Former Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The veteran actor said to motivate each of his six children, he bought them all cars upon graduation from the university.
"I wanted to motivate them and keep them away from peer pressure. Parents must be able to motivate their children and set target for them. Yul who is over 30 (pictured above) is the last born and he got his too.” Pete Edochie tells The Nollywood Reporter

WTH? California allows first-ever state recognized human-animal marriage?

What kind of report is this? Are they for real or just messing with people? According to this report, a man in San Francisco has legally married his dog in a church officiated by a priest and witnessed by family members. Read this bizarre story below culled from Nationalreport.net
On Monday history was made at the Chapel of Our Lady at the Presidio in San Francisco as the first-ever state recognized human-animal marriage took place.
Local resident 35-year-old Paul Horner was the groom during the ceremony. Joining him was his faithful dog Mac who is 36-years-old in dog years. Mac also decided to be the groom but ended up wearing a white veil at the last moment.

Father McHale who officiated the outdoor wedding told reporters he was extremely happy to be a part of this joyous moment of life. “This is the definition of true love my friends. There is nothing more sacred than the bond between a man and his faithful dog,” McHale said. “Now, since it is recognized as a legally binding marriage in the state of California, Mr. Horner and Mac will have all the same tax benefits and everything else coming to them that a regular married couple would receive. It’s a fantastic day to be alive!”

So how could this have happened?

In the book of California’s State Laws and Regulations there is a little known law that was passed as the state was first forming in 1850. According to article 155, paragraph 10, it clearly states:

If a man and a man can get married and a woman and a woman can get married, if ever comes that day, then a human and animal will have the exact same rights to marriage in every eye of the law. God help us if this ever is to happen!

In attendance was Horner’s entire family who flew in from Hawaii to witness the event. Mac had her puppies on hand and making a special celebrity appearance was Alex from Stroh’s and Spuds Mckenzie.

“I just love my Mac so much, I can’t wait till we can finally get back to the honeymoon sweet in Montana where bestiality is legal. Gosh, get with the times California! We can marry here just fine, but love making is a big no-no,” said Horner. “People keep asking me why I wanted to marry a dog. I told them I just want the same god given rights that every person in California is allowed to have. Don’t tell me I can’t marry my dog. I don’t tell you that you can’t marry a 500 lb woman with gas issues. That’s your decision. Don’t tread on me. I love my dog and I know he loves me a hundred times more than any gay wedding out there.”

With this wedding between a man and a male dog now on the books, one can only ask what is in store next? A man marrying a toaster? A toaster marrying a dog? A toaster marrying a toaster?

America, what happened to the sanctity of marriage? Tsk. Tsk.

The tide of party defection isn't anywhere near over as 16 Local Govt Chairmen and 194 Councillors  have defected to the ruling opposition party, the All Progressive Congress, APC. The defectees were elected on the platform of PDP.

Announcing their defection today, the Chairman, ALGON, Kwara State chapter (under whose aegis they announced their defection) Mr. Abdulateef Okandeji said failure of the national leaders of the PDP to listen to their grievances is the main reason for their defection.
"I recall that following the refusal and failure of the national leaders of the PDP to address the observations and complaints of its founding members especially about the lawlessness, impunity and injustice which had become the norm and which led to the factionalisation of the PDP, our leaders decided to team up in what is known as the newPDP under the national Chairmanship of our own Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje. After exhaustive consultations and deliberations by our leaders spearheaded by Senator Bukola Saraki, it was unanimously decided that the best option for us would be to merge with the newly formed APC and work together in the overall interest of the good people of this country towards the advancement of democracy,” he said.

My life was almost triangular. I went from home to school and to church and back home. Even till my first year in school, I always woke up to go and mop the altar in the church for the morning Mass. I was the president of the block rosary crusade (Catholic prayer group) in my area. I have younger sisters and I need to show them good examples. They look up to me. I am the first and they look up to me. Now, as a grown person, there are things I cannot do
