Why most salespeople dont sell by Dr.Enitiolorunda Abiola-Idris

 Ever wondered why most sales people don't sell? Reason : "communication" .There are 2types of communication: 1.Transactional Communication 2.Relational Communication. However,most sales people communicate in a transactional communication mode. They hook up with a customer, quickly convert the conversation to the product they sell. They make it obvious that they are not really interested in the customer. They display the me me me attitude. They are only interested in what they sell. In contrast the relational communicator salesperson understands interpersonal relationship,they value relationships than money. They earn the customers trust.They take their time to establish a good and ever lasting relationship. They show to the customer that they care about the customer. When they eventually want to talk about the product they sell,they give the customer reasons why he or she needs the product or service. They outline the benefits the customer would derive from acquiring the product or service. Relational communicators are the greatest sales people in the world. Because of their logic,customers patronise them day in day out,they enjoy referrals. They are already into the customers. Which communicator art thou ?
