I Dont Have Marriage Luck-Fathia Balogun
In a chat with Broadway TV, the actress said she has had her own fair share of down times but “The biggest down for me was when my marriage crashed”.
She said: “Everything in life is about luck. When I was growing up the first thing that came to my mind was to have a very glamours. A white wedding with my wedding train, my nine-to-five husband and my two kids.
“You have plans for the future. But if you go into one and it doesn’t work out. You go into the second and it doesn’t work out, that means marriage luck isn’t by your side. I think I’m one of those people who marriage luck isn’t by their side.”
The actress’s recent separation would be her second unsuccessful attempt at marriage but she doesnt blame either of her two estranged spouses for the union not working out.
She said: “I don’t fault anybody because I had my own faults and they had their own faults. For my own faults, I adjusted my self, my lifestyle and everything around me. I’d say maybe some other time I’ll be lucky.”
Although separated from Balogun, while keeping his last name, Williams said it isn’t official yet. “We are not officially divorced because the case is still in court,” she said.
However, she said they still keep in touch with each other fondly.
“We are good friends. I have two kids for him so once in a while I say hello to him.”
But if they would get back together as a couple, the actress said, “I don’t know”.

Water The Grass Wherever You Are & It Will Be Green-By Enny Idris
This epistle is very interesting, its an eye opener, its revealing,it could lead to a controversy.
Its a must read!
Climb the pulpit of a church on Sunday giving testimony of a US/UK Visa and i would just smile.
Truth is, its not a testimony to me!!!
Why ? What are you going to do there other than holidaying!!!
You can make money anywhere,if you care to know what it takes.
A Lot of people especially Africans opine that the grass is greener on the other side, unfortunately i contest this statement. In simple words, the grass is greener where you water it.
A lot of Nigerians can do anything to travel to foreign countries like United States Of America,Canada,Great Britain,South Africa,Italy,Germany,France,United Arab Emirates just because they opine that the grass is greener in those countries.
Lets journey into the United Arab Emirates, where Nigerians and other african nationals sell off their most priced possessions in other to seek greener pastures.
Dubai's vision made wonders, their leaders had a dream even when the skies wasnt the limit, their desert once grew trees, now it grows buildings, hospitals, companies, airports, malls, tourist attractions, projects thought to be impossible by many other nationals were made possible by UAE Nationals.
When other nationals saw "challenges",the UAE nationals saw "chances" to change the world.
Their vision built their generation. The vision came alive by the youth across their nation who wanted to be a part of it.
All they did was :
1.They were innovative
2.They created their own opportunity.
3.Their thought was outside the box.
4.They set a clear goal in place, they stick to it.
5.They sang their song.
6.They woke up with right attitude.
7.Never work on something they never liked.
8.They took the first step.
9.They always put their hearts to their work
10.Never procrastinate
11.Be an achiever.
12.Learn from your mistakes, pick yourself up and never quit.
13.Unleash your potentials
14.Realise the ocean is made up of little water drops
15.Create a team you can rely on.
My fellow Nigerians ,you can do the same,we can get other Nationals serve us in this country.

Pastor Adeboye Spits Fire!
Pastor Adeboye said that that those responsible will be arrested, while predicting that the tide would turn in favor of Nigeria's currency, the cleric reiterated that our currency will become powerful again.
The cleric made this declaration on Saturday morning during the November Holy Ghost Service with the theme: “Victory Ahead” held at the 3×3 kilometre auditorium at Shimawa, Ogun State.
Adeboye told the congregation how God provided him N17,000 as the total cost to roof the 100 by 50 metres first auditorium of the church in the early 80s through a woman directed by God from Port Harcourt.
Pastor's words: “I told that when we were building the first auditorium, the one by the expressway, and it was time for roofing and the roofing was going to cost N17, 000 (Naira was powerful those days and Naira will be powerful again in Jesus name).
“Mighty auditorium, 100×50 metres, and you want to roof it with N17, 000! I think the tide will turn for the naira tonight,” Adeboye declared with a thunderous echo of ‘amen’ following.
He added: “For all those who are deliberately devaluing the Naira, as my God lives, they’ll be arrested,” he declared with a louder thunderous “amen” in response.

Dogara Congratulates President Buhari For Leading Nigeria Out of Recession
…says most Nigerian families still struggling for survival.
Speaker Yakubu Dogara of the House of Representatives has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for leading Nigeria out of recession, adding that the government must do all within our powers to alleviate the sufferings of most Nigerians who are still struggling for survival.
In light of this, he called for policy consistency and synergy between all stakeholders in order to sustain economic growth and development, and a full implementation of President Buhari’s well crafted and thought-out Economic recovery and Growth Plan which was launched in January 2017.
Dogara was speaking at the occasion of the presentation of the 2018 Budget Estimates by President Muhammadu Buhari at the National Assembly.
The Speaker said as a government, the executive and legislature must do all within their powers to hasten the long night of panic and fear of many stuggling Nigerians into a glorious morning through sustained economic growth and development.
He said, “May I also use this opportunity to congratulate Mr. President for leading Nigeria out of recession. Although recession has technically ended, most Nigerian families are still struggling. As a Government, we must do all within our powers to hasten their long night of panic and fear into a glorious morning.
“We must never allow this nation to slide into recession, not now, not ever again. We cannot therefore discountenance policy consistency and synergy between all stakeholders, if we must sustain economic growth and development, going forward.
“Mr. President, I urge that you take no prisoners in the implementation of your well crafted and thought-out Economic recovery and Growth Plan which you launched in January 2017.”

Read What Femi Fani Kayode Wrote About Nigerian Leaders &Their Tragedies
Femi Fani-Kayode was a member of the Nigerian National Congress (NNC) in 1989. He was elected the national youth leader of NNC that same year. In 1990, he was appointed as Chief Press Secretary to Chief Tom Ikimi, the first national chairman of the National Republican Convention (NRC) and in 1991 as Special Assistant to Alhaji Umaru Shinkafi, former head of the Nigerian Security Organisation (NSO). In 1996, disturbed by the actions of Gen. Sani Abacha's military junta, Femi Fani-Kayode left Nigeria and joined the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) abroad where, together with the likes of the Oxford University-trained lawyer Chief Tunde Edu and others, he played a very active role in the fight against Abacha.[12] He came back to Nigeria in 2001 and met President Olusegun Obasanjo. At the beginning of 2003, Femi Fani-Kayode was appointed by the President as a member of his presidential campaign team for the 2003 presidential election. After President Obasanjo won that election Femi Fani-Kayode was appointed as the first ever Special Assistant on Public Affairs to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. In 2006 he was appointed as the Honourable Minister of Culture and Tourism. That same year, after a minor cabinet reshuffle, he was redeployed to the Aviation Ministry as the Honourable Minister of Aviation. Since the end of the tenure of President Olusegun Obasanjo's administration on 29 May 2007, Femi Fani-Kayode has gone back to the private sector and to his legal practice.
Here is the article:
In the early 1960′s Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the first Premier of the Western Region, lost his first son and years later his second son and second daughter were cut short in the prime of their lives.
Chief S.L. Akintola, his bitter political rival and the second Premier of the Western Region also lost his first daughter in the early 60′s and a few years later lost his third and youngest son. His second son was also cut short in his prime a number of years later.
Chief Remilekun Fani-Kayode, the Deputy Premier of the Western Region, who was a close ally and second in command to S.L. Akintola, lost his second son.
Sir Adesoji Aderemi, who was the Ooni of Ife, a close ally of Awolowo and the first ceremonial Governor of the old Western Region, lost his first son.
Chief Nnamdi Azikiwe, the Premier of the old Eastern Region and Nigeria’s first and only ceremonial President, lost his first wife.
President Olusegun Obasanjo, Nigeria’s second democratically-elected President lost four wives and one son many years ago whilst Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Premier of the Northern Region, lost two sons and one daughter. Awolowo and Obasanjo went to jail for three years each whilst Ahmadu Bello went to jail for three months.
S.L. Akintola was killed in the prime of his life just as were Ahmadu Bello and Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Nigeria’s first democratically-elected leader and Prime Minister. As a matter of fact they were all killed on the same night- the night of January 15th 1966.
President Shehu Shagari, Nigeria’s second democratically-elected leader and first executive President lost four children whilst he was in power and was locked up for over two years after he was toppled.
Chief MKO Abiola, the winner of the June 12th 1993 Presidential election, lost two wives, was locked up for 4 years and was eventually killed. Chief Bola Ige, the first democratically-elected Governor of Oyo state and the former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice of the Federation lost his first son and he himself was later murdered.
Chief Bisi Onabanjo, the first democratically-elected Governor of Ogun state lost his first son. Alhaji Lateef Jakande, the first democratically elected Governor of Lagos state, lost his first daughter. Dr. Omololu Olunloyo, the second democratically-elected Governor of Oyo state lost his son.
Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh, the first Minister of Finance of Nigeria was killed. Chief Alfred Rewane, one of the founding members of the Action Group and a leading figure in NADECO, was killed. The list is endless and I could go on and on.
Alhaji Musa Yar’adua was Minister of Lagos Affairs in the First Republic. He was blessed with a long and peaceful life. However two of his sons were not so lucky.
His first son, General Shehu Musa Yar’adua, who was number two to General Obasanjo when he was military Head of State and who for many decades was one of the most powerful men in the country, was murdered whilst he was in prison.
His second son, President Umaru Yar’adua, was cut short in his prime by a strange and inexplicable ailment after he had been President for only three years.
He was succeeded by his number two, Vice President Goodluck Jonathan. Jonathan lost his brother and his mother-in-law one year after the other after he became President.
Worse still those that he had been deputy to throughout his political life, either as Deputy Governor or Vice President, always suffered one form of misfortune or the other, whether it be death, shame, incarceration or impeachment, and he would end up stepping into their shoes and taking their place.
When it comes to our military rulers the story of consistent tragedy is no different- General Aguiyi-Ironsi, our first military Head of State was killed.
General Yakubu Gowon, our second military Head of State, was toppled from power, exiled, lost his brother and his first son was jailed.
General Murtala Mohammed, our third military Head of State, was killed and lost both his son and son-in-law. General Olusegun Obasanjo was our fourth military Head of State and we touched on his misfortunes earlier.
General Muhammadu Buhari, our fifth military Head of State, was toppled from power, locked up for three years, lost his mother whilst he was in detention and was not allowed to attend her burial, lost his number two (General Tunde Idiagbon) in very strange and suspicious circumstances and later lost two daughters.
General Ibrahim Babangida, our sixth military Head of State, was eased out of power and compelled to ”step aside” amidst massive controversy and turmoil and later lost his wife.
His number two, Rear Admiral Augustus Aikhomu, lost his first son, Chief Ernest Shonekan, our first and only Interim Civilian Head of State, was badly humiliated and toppled from power.
General Sani Abacha, our seventh military Head of State, lost his son, was removed from power and was killed. General Abdulsalami Abubakar, our eighth military Head of State, as far as I am aware is the only exception and appears to have escaped any misfortune.
Yet the picture is very depressing. This is indeed a catalogue of tragic events. Sorrow and pain just appears to be following sorrow and pain. It is a vicious cycle of misfortune and calamity.
Yet the most curious phenomenon and bizarre series of events of all is the fact that every single Head of State or President that has ruled our country from the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock, Abuja for three years or more has either ended up dying whilst there or has lost a spouse before leaving office.
Babangida did not stay in the Villa in Abuja for up to three years so he and his wife escaped what has come to be known as the ”Villa curse”.
It was the same for Chief Ernest Shonekan who, wisely
, never stayed at the Villa at all but who chose to preside over the affairs of the nation from Aguda house next door and who remained in power for barely six months. General Abdulsalami Abubakar stayed at the Villa but he remained there for less than a year.
However Abacha, Obasanjo and Yar’adua were not so lucky- each of them stayed at the Villa for three years or more and before the end of their tenure they either lost their own life or the life of their spouse whilst there.
The story is that once the three year mark is passed the curse sets in and the clock begins to tick. At the end of the day only one of the two spouses comes out alive.
Permit me to conclude with the following observations which I believe are curious and relevant.
During the course of the three years before the 2015 presidential election President Muhammadu Buhari lost another daughter whilst Governor Nasir El Rufai of Kaduna state, who is being groomed as his heir and successor, lost one daughter, one son and one nephew.
Finally one year and six months before the 2019 presidential election, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the former Governor of Lagos state, the National Leader of the APC, Buhari’s closest and most powerful ally in southern Nigeria and a man who, it is rumoured, himself has presidential ambitions lost his first son.
The curse of power is frightful and real. May God deliver us from it and may the souls of all those that were cut short before their time rest in peace.

I Have Suffered A Grave Loss That No Parent Would Like To Bear- Bola Tinubu
He said the tragic incident is a reminder that “none of us knows when our last day shall be”.
“My son was a highly intelligent person with a vibrant personality and a zest for life. He followed his own course and made his own way on his own terms,” he said.
“Those who knew him could not help but like him. Yet, he was taken away by cardiac arrest when it seemed he had so much life to still live.
“This is a reminder that we must live each day to its best as none of us knows when our last day shall be.
“Mortality comes upon us all. We have no choice in that but we do have a choice whether we shall be good or bad, just or unjust. Let us all strive toward the best in ourselves.”
Tinubu said he and his wife were currently in London to console Jide’s wife and her “three precious boys”.
“As a father, I must spend time putting my arms around the family he has left behind,” he said.
“Jide lived for so long in London and there he has left behind a darling wife and three precious boys. My wife Remi and I have gone to London to be with them at this painful time to support and help them.
“Please excuse our absence from Lagos for a while but it is essential that we are with them. Prayers are being offered and will continue to be offered for the repose of his soul. I have suffered a grave loss that no parent would like to bear.”

Real Reasons President Buhari Finally Sacked The Secretary To The Federal Government
This was included in a statement issued by Mr. Femi Adeshina, the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity.
The statement reads as follows, “President Muhammadu Buhari has studied the report of the panel headed by the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, which investigated allegations against the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Babachir David Lawal, and the Director General, National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Ayo Oke.
“The President accepted the recommendation of the panel to terminate the appointment of Mr Lawal, and has appointed Mr Boss Mustapha as the new Secretary to the Government of the Federation. The appointment takes immediate effect.
“President Buhari also approved the recommendation to terminate the appointment of Ambassador Oke, and has further approved the setting up of a three-member panel to, among other things, look into the operational, technical and administrative structure of the Agency and make appropriate recommendations.”
Dont Discuss Buhari's Re Election With Me-Bola Tinubu
Tinubu added that his meeting with the president was about Nigeria and Leadership,it was fruitful and productive,he went on say that the news that he was sidelined by the president was fake news.
He mentioned that he had confidence in the president and hence there is no need for babysitting, that in democracy there will be conflicts, etc but i have confidence in Buhari.
APC's National leader went on to say that:
“We worked hard to bring about the government. There are certain things that are unpredictable and those are things that can lean itself to gossips, insinuations and all of that.
“But once you create leadership and it is functioning, you don’t have to babysit that leadership unless there is a loss of confidence and I don’t have that.
“You know me. I’ve not known to shy away from talking my mind and rebelling if it is necessary and taking charge of things that I believe are necessary. What is the myth in this leadership thing? What is cabal? It is a myth.”

Facebook In Fresh Trouble
Gary Glouner says he worked under the Facebook umbrella for 2 years, and during that time was the butt of many ageist jokes. According to the docs, the age cracks included:
- "Old people shouldn't be working at Facebook; they just don't relate"
- "Old people are just creepy"
- "Old people don't belong at Facebook"
Glouner says Mark Zuckerberg himself made public comments in 2007 where he said, "Young people are just smarter." He adds ... the ageism was institutional because during an HR presentation they displayed a chart highlighting the low energy of employees in their 50s.
Worst of all, he says his co-workers in their 20s and 30s always got cake and group celebrations, while he got bupkis. Glouner also claims his boss told him they didn't want to embarrass him by highlighting his advanced age.
