A Lot of people especially Africans opine that the grass is greener on the other side,unfortunately i contest this statement. In simple words, the grass is greener where you water it.
A lot of Nigerians can do anything to travel to foreign countries like United States Of America,Canada,Great Britain,South Africa,Italy,Germany,France,United Arab Emirates just because they opine that the grass is greener in those countries.
Lets journey into the United Arab Emirates,where Nigerians and other african nationals sell off their most priced possessions in other to seek greener pastures.
Dubai's vision made wonders,their leaders had a dream even when the skies wasnt the limit,their desert once grew trees,now it grows buildings,hospitals,companies,airports,malls,tourist attractions,projects thought to be impossible by many other nationals were made possible by UAE Nationals.
When other nationals saw "challenges",the UAE nationals saw "chances" to change the world.
Their vision built their generation. The vision came alive by the youth across their nation who wanted to be a part of it.
All they did was :
1.They were innovative
2.They created their own opportunity.
3.Their thought was outside the box.
4.They set a clear goal in place,they stick to it.
5.They sang their song.
6.They woke up with right attitude.
7.Never work on something they never liked.
8.They took the first step.
9.They always put their hearts to their work
10.Never procrastinate
11.Be an achiever.
12.Learn from your mistakes,pick yourself up and never quit.
13.Unleash your potentials
14.Realise the ocean is made up of little water drops
15.Create a team you can rely on.
My fellow Nigerians ,you can do the same,we can get other Nationals serve us in this country.
